Kurz & Lang, the bratwurst concept, is looking to expand to 20 sites over the next five years, after opening its first outlet opposite Smithfields Market, London.
The company, which was founded by Valentine Von Amsberg, opened its first site in the UK in June.
The 20-cover site is aimed at both eat-in and take-out markets, offering a selection of different bratwurst-influenced snacks and meals.
Von Amsberg told M&C Report that the company, which is backed by private investors, was close to finalising on a second site in the capital and was looking to expand further in the city and nationally over the coming years.
He said: “I love UK but the one thing I missed was our favourite German food, so I decided to bring the two together. All the bratwurst is made with freshly imported, quality meat and is cooked to order.
“People can choose from a variety of bratwursts, sauces and side dishes, as well as hot and cold drinks.”
