A further UK subsidiary of Hooters, the US restaurant chain renowned for its scantily clad waitresses, has been placed into administration.
Bubo Restaurant Company Ltd, which was set up to operate the chain’s site in Cardiff was placed into administration last week.
It follows the closure of the chain’s site in Bristol after Gallus Management Company Ltd, which is headed up by entrepreneur Bill McTaggart, was placed into liquidation and ceased trading.
The group was also planning to open a site in Brighton Marina under the brand, but a company set up to oversee the project, Bubo Ltd, was also placed into administration earlier this year.
The Hooters in Nottingham is operated by a different company and unaffected.
