Exxon Mobil is considering launching its On The Run Cafe brand in Esso petrol stations in the United Kingdom.
The company currently has On The Run cafés in Chile, Canada, Singapore, Ireland and the United States, where it launched in August 2002.
The cafés offer sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, fried chicken and coffee, which can be take-away or eat-in.
Esso's rival BP currently has 82 of its Wild Bean Cafes at sites in the United Kingdom, with plans to have 300 by 2005.
