Everyman Cinema, the London-based cinema chain whose shareholders include Ask founders Adam and Sam Kaye, is set to continue its regional expansion, after securing a site in Cirencester, M&C Report understands.

The 12-strong group will open in the Brewery Quarter redevelopment in the town. Developer Wildmoor is behind the new mixed-use scheme, which will include restaurants and retail units.

The company will open its first three-screen cinema in the South West next year, after securing a site in Bristol earlier this year.

The group, which floated on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) last November, secured the Grade II-listed ABC cinema site on Whiteladies Road, Clifton, that has been unused since closing in 2001.

The company’s latest site opened at Birmingham’s Mailbox, while a further opening is lined up for Canary Wharf.

The Bristol opening will feature a 320-seat auditorium, subject to planning permission.

Martin Bloom, managing director of Insight Retail Consulting, acted on the Cirencester deal for Everyman.
