Corney & Barrow has insured itself against the British weather by taking out a policy which pays out for cold and wet days this summer. The London wine bar chain will collect £15,000 for every Thursday and Friday that the temperature drops below 24¦C and the bars fail to meet their sales targets. Corney & Barrow has 12 bars in central London and the City.
