Sharon Cawthorne, the former property director at Wagamama, is understood to be advising Drake & Morgan, the Bowmark Capital-backed group, on its expansion plans.
Cawthorne, who left Wagamama, the Duke Street Capital-led group, last month after five and a half years, is advising the Jillian MacLean-led chain on a consultancy basis.
She left Wagamama after it carried out a restructure of its property department.
Drake & Morgan, which recently opened its seventh site, The Fable in Holborn, believes there is potential for it to open up to 70 sites across the UK, including up to 15 sites in the capital.
