Casual dining all you can eat Brazilian concept Casa Brasil is opening three new sites in the next six months, MCA has learnt.

The David Hall-led brand is opening a second site in Southampton in September, at the £85m WestQuay Watermark centre, on top of its site in Latimer Street, as well as Bristol’s Calbot Circus in March 2015 and Basingstoke in May 2016.

The group currently has four restaurants in Bournemouth, Southampton, Portsmouth and Brighton, while Hall also operates Regginas, La Vista and Casa Italia restaurants in Southampton.

Regional manager Ricardo Correia, who has managed the roll-out, said Casa Brasil would continue to look for sites in Southern England for further expansion.

Correia said: “We are hoping to create a big chain, we’re working in that direction, we want to open as many as we can. We are looking around for the best sites and locations. We try not go too far afield.

“It’s very different to what’s on the market, which is a combination of the food, service and atmosphere. When you step inside it’s like stepping into Brazil. It’s like being on your holidays.”

Casa Brasil is a ’rodizio’, a fixed price all you can eat Brazilian buffet, which includes a salad bar and coal barbecued meats served on skewers and carved at the table, with live music.
