The Cairn Group, the North East hotel, restaurant and bar operator, has rebranded a collection of its historic hotels as the Cairn Collection.

The 10 hotels have been selected based on historic design and fabric of the buildings, their locations in iconic towns and cities as well as the service offered by each hotel’s team.

The hotels’ feature restaurants and bars, such as The Redworth Hall Hotel’s 1744 restaurant, or the Scholars Restaurant at Stirling Highland Hotel, and Asian fusiton restaurant Sohe and cocktail bar, 97 & Social, at Cairn Hotel Newcastle.

Naveen Handa, director of Cairn Group, said: “We’re delighted to launch The Cairn Collection; a select group of our hotels, all of which blend authentic British character with modern comforts and exciting city centre locations.

“For our customers, the collection provides a brand which will give them an assured quality offer across the portfolio, with a strong focus on destination dining, customer service, historical properties and local knowledge.

“The collection also meets a need for soft hotel brands which give the opportunity for owners and operators to affiliate with a major chain whilst allowing individual hotels to retain their unique style.”
