Gordon Ramsay Holdings (GRH) is to close its Boxwood Café at London’s Berkeley Hotel next April The Maybourne Group, has confirmed that GRH’s contract for the 120-seat Knightsbridge restaurant will not be renewed next year. Boxwood Café at the Berkeley is the third Gordon Ramsay restaurant to be dropped by the Maybourne Group following the closure of Angela Hartnett’s Michelin-starred restaurant at the Berkeley’s sister hotel, the Connaught, in 2007, and Pétrus – now occupied by Marcus Wareing at the Berkeley - in 2008. It leaves only the restaurants at Claridges.
