Dining, retail, and leisure group Boxpark has announced it will open its sixth and first Boxpark-branded site outside London in Liverpool next year.

A further two sites will also open in Bristol and London’s Liverpool Street next year under the BoxHall brand, a premium F&B sibling concept introduced earlier this year.

Boxpark currently has an estate of three, with sites in Shoreditch, Croydon, and Wembley. The Liverpool venue will open in late 2023 as part of the group’s national expansion plans, following investment from mid-market private equity firm LDC.

The new venue will be at Canning Hall in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle district, a warehouse building forming part of the Cains Brewery Village estate.

The 16,000 sq ft, 600-cover site will house 10 units held by independent food operators as well as three internal bars and additional external bars. It will also have a 5,430 sq ft external terrace.

Boxpark CEO Simon Champion commented: “We are thrilled to announce such a fantastic location for our next BOXPARK venture. Our team have searched extensively for sites in Liverpool since 2016, having considered multiple locations across the city.

“As a dynamic and fast-growing business, we hope BOXPARK will be an exciting addition to Liverpool’s buzzing food and drink scene, offering an all-day food and entertainment destination.”
