The much-anticipated UK debut for Balthazar, the highly-rated New York eatery, in Russell Street, Covent Garden, has been scheduled for next February.

The venue, which is housed in the Flower Cellars property and is a partnership between Riochard Caring and Balthazar owner Keith McNally, will be an all-day venue serving everything from early breakfast and weekend brunch to afternoon tea and late-night dishes.

The concept’s breads, cakes, croissants and pastries will be produced in-house or at a mooted bakery in Waterloo.
