Devon-based Seadog Foods has been named best of the best at the British Street Food Awards.
The company, founded by Beth Newsome and Jim Coslett, trades across North Devon from a trailer, sourcing all its fish from Devon waters.
Cornish operator Angus and Mitchell won the people’s choice award for their pork-based offer Rasher. They beat off competition from SubCult and Cheeky Indian
Angus Denoon, whose take on Kolkata street food Jhal Muri has won a national following after he started out in Hastings, Sussex, selling from a shopping trolley.
