Boxpark Wembley has confirmed it will open on 1 December, with additional operators, including Thai Express and independent pizzeria Zia Lucia, joining the line-up.
However, MCA understands that Shake Shack and Wingstop will no longer be part of the line-up.
It further delays the latter’s entry in the UK, with its site in Shaftesbury Avenue, which was due to launch in the summer, still shuttered.
Poptata, the street fries concept, which was also announced as a tenant in May, will also be absent from the line-up.
Thai Express currently has six sites in the UK, having just opened its latest at Intu Derby last month, and already operates from Boxpark Croydon. While Zia Lucia currently has two London sites, in Highbury and Islington and Hammersmith.
Other operators include new Italian street food concept GialloGrano – from the team behind Tre Rote, Kabab and Spice Shack, in addition to the previously announced The Athenian and Ugly Dumping.
The new pop-up venue will be the largest Boxpark yet, with 24 shipping container style units and 20,000 sq ft of event space.
Roger Wade, founder and CEO of Boxpark, said: “Boxpark Wembley will create the ultimate fan experience for anyone watching a match or seeing a concert in one of the world-renowned venues we’ll have on our doorstep.
“You can expect a diverse selection of fantastic food vendors, from delicious local favourites to established Boxpark staples, and the electric atmosphere that Boxpark has become synonymous with.”
