Borough Market

Borough Market is launching a communal dining space, The Borough Market Kitchen, in Jubilee Place.

It will include more than 20 food traders, who will make use the market’s seasonal produce, with a line-up including La Tua Pasta and Horn OK, as well as newcomers such as Mei Mei by chef Elizabeth Haigh and an all new Pintxos bar from cookery school Mimo London.

The airy covered roof of Jubilee Place will be filled with long communal dining tables.

Darren Henaghan, managing director, said: “Borough Market has a proud heritage stretching back over 1,000 years, and the 21st anniversary of our opening to the public marks a modern coming of age for both the market and its traders. Our continuing commitment to delivering wonderful produce to everyone who comes through our doors is encapsulated in all the innovative plans we have for this year. The Borough Market Kitchen will be a new space for London to come and eat together, a community hub for the market, showcasing the incredible diversity of our produce and bringing together some of our market pioneers with exciting new traders.”

The Borough Market Kitchen will open in mid-November 2019.
