Scotland enters national lockdown

Pubs, restaurants and cafes across Scotland will be forced to close from midnight tonight, as the country enters another national lockdown. In an announcement to the Scottish Parliament earlier today (4 January), First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said the country would be entering a month-long lockdown with immediate effect, and that a legal requirement to stay at home except for essential purposes will be in place from Tuesday.
