A beer tasting fundraiser organised by Camra has raised over £1,000 for the Tsunami Earthquake Appeal.
Led by beer writer Roger Protz, 36 beer drinkers paid £20 each to attend the tasting session of seven real ales, followed by a book auction.
Protz said: "It was a magnificent evening - magnificent support from local people to help the victims of this dreadful disaster, magnificent support from brewers throughout the country who donated beer free."
