Camden Council has become the latest authority to consider the introduction of a late-night levy.
The proposal will go before the Licensing Committee on 4 February.
Last week Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council rejected proposals for a levy, due to the current economic climate and businesses’ financial difficulties.
