Shoreditch Bar Group has further strengthened its portfolio after taking on quintessential East London venue The Hoxton Pony.
The 380-capacity, two-floor late night bar and club is on 104-108 Curtain Road and was previously owned by Gerry Calabrese.
The group is “looking to acquire more sites in the coming months”.
It is the latest acquisition for the 23-strong Shoreditch Bar Group, which last summer bought the remainder of Novus Leisure’ late-night business for an undisclosed sum.
The deal incorporated Tiger Tiger London, Tiger Tiger Cardiff, Piccadilly Institute, Ruby Blue and Zoo Bar.
The Mark McEvoy-led company also operates Cargo, Catch, The Shoreditch, The Redchurch, Hoxton 7, De Beauvoir Tavern, Matchbox, Cirque, Casa Blue, Trafik and The King’s Head private members club.
