Wahaca, the Mexican street food restaurant concept led by Thomasina Miers and Mark Selby, has launched a competition giving two customers the chance to win a trip to Mexico and go on a food tour designed by Miers.

The eight-strong chain has teamed up with Intrepid Travel for the trip, which will see a prize winner and a friend fly to Mexico and join up to 10 other “food-loving travellers for the adventure of a lifetime, getting an authentic taste of Mexico on this luscious eight-day journey from Mexico City to Oaxaca and Puebla, worth over £3,000!”.

Last month, the chain confirmed it had secured the former Pitcher & Piano site in Islington for an opening in April this year.

It is also thought to have secured a further site in Waterloo for an opening later this year.
