Wahaca has announced a year-long series of events to celebrate its 10th birthday
The Mexican restaurant group founded by Thomasina Miers and Mark Selby will undertake a UK-wide ‘Taco Tour’, a research trip to Mexico, guest chef dinners, launch a new project in London - as well as #TacoTuesdays, where diners will be able to buy their first plate of tacos for £1.
The national Taco Tour will see Wahaca’s van touring the UK throughout summer at Wahaca restaurants and landmarks.
Miers and Selby opened their first Wahaca in London’s Covent Garden, and have built a collection of more than 20 restaurants, with further openings planned this year in London, Southampton and Scotland.
