Tossed, the salad bar concept, has confirmed it will open its first site outside London at the start of October at Bluewater shopping centre. As revealed at the started of this month by M&C Report, the company, which is led by Vincent McKevitt, will open at the scheme’s relaunched Wintergarden on 9 October. A week earlier the eight-strong group will open a site near the Tate Modern at Bankside. McKevitt, who founded Tossed in 2005, said: “This is a very exciting time for Tossed. Whilst we continue to expand on the high street, we are also strengthening our presence in high volume retail centres. Bluewater is our first of our London venture which will set the standards for our next stage of growth.”
