Paul UK, the patisserie-cafe concept, is to unveil a brace of London sites this December.

The group, which has 23 sites in the UK - all in London - is to open cafes in Clapham and the City of London.

Paul, which is owned by Groupe Holder, a fourth-generation French family business, also expects to open between 10 and 12 locations in 2011 as part of a plan to launch 50 new locations in London over the next four years.

The two new venues are in Clapham’s Northcote Road and Farringdon’s Charterhouse Street.

The ambitious rollout plan will be spearheaded by James Fleming, a former Pizza Express operations director who was recently appointed CEO.

He told M&C: “The UK business is performing strongly, with good organic growth, which gives us the confidence to expand.”
