Paul, the patisserie and coffee chain, plans to add 18 new sites to its estate in the Middle East over the next 18 months.

The company currently operates 24 sites in the region but plans to add 10 new outlets this year and a further eight in 2013

As part of its plans for this year, it will open its first sites in Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Oman.

The brand currently operates c500 sites across 27 countries, including 30 company-owned units and nine franchise sites in transport hubs in the UK.
