Domino's Pizza UK & Ireland has appointed Patricia Thomas as operations director.
Thomas was formerly vice president of distribution operations for the pizza delivery chain's US business.
Her new role includes support for 152 Domino's franchisees and 407 jointly operated franchisee and company-run outlets across the region.
Among other responsibilities, she will institute programmes and policies that ensure outlets meet agreed standards for service, staff training, safety and brand image. She will report directly to chief operating officer Chris Moore.
Thomas said: “This is a very exciting time for Domino's Pizza group and I am delighted to come on board. I look forward to playing my part in ensuring that Domino's continues to lead the market in the UK and Ireland.”
