London-based sushi concept K10 has launched a new app, which offers click and collect and payment functionality for customers, MCA has learnt.

Maurice Abboudi, director at K10 told MCA: “We launched our own app last week, but it’s very early days. We don’t have nutritional information yet – that will be one of the next things.”

At the moment it allows customers to order products, select a timescale for collection and then pay using the app.

Abboudi said the trial of its virtual brand Katsunama, which launched in November, was progressing well on Deliveroo, with around 150 orders coming in a week, but as yet it had not done a lot of marketing around it.

Currently available from its Appold Street branch only, the menu is focused on katsu curries, with four main courses available and a selection of sides and starters, such as chicken karaage and salt and pepper chilli quid.
