Greggs has been facing “temporary interruptions” to its supply chain, with vegan sausage rolls and bean and cheese melts among the product lines affected.
A spokesperson for the food to go retailer said that some shops were still able to offer the products but offers were without, depending on location.
“Like others, we’re seeing temporary interruptions which are affecting the supply for some of our products. Our stock levels will vary from day to day but we are working hard to minimise any impact on the availability of our products,” they said.
Greggs told followers on Twitter it was “currently experiencing some supply issues” with its sugars and sweeteners also effected but it was “working hard to get these back as soon as possible.”
The business also confirmed it was launching its festive range “a little later than normal” due to some production challenges, but that products would be rolled out from next Monday.
