Fourth Hospitality, the software supplier to pubs, restaurants and hotels, has entered into a strategic partnership with the Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA) to become its official technology partner. The company said that its link up with the SRA was “a perfect fit” since both parties shared the same aims in helping restaurant operators to minimise their environmental impact. Catherine Iredale, communications director at Fourth Hospitality, said: “We share not only the same aims as the SRA, but also many of the same clients, including Carluccio’s, Wahaca and Harvey Nichols. Our products aim to boost sustainability to reduce paper and storage, emissions due to more timely deliveries, and food waste thanks to smarter ordering and portion control. “This partnership is ideally suited for both parties and the restaurant sector as a whole as both of us are committed to ensuring businesses are run smarter and greener.” Mark Linehan, managing director of the SRA, said: “We are looking forward to working closely with Fourth Hospitality, which shares our commitment in driving sustainability within the restaurant and hospitality industry.”
