Domino’s Pizza has announced the promotion of Patrick Doyle from executive vice president of Team USA to president of Domino’s USA. The appointment of Doyle, who has been with the company for 10 years, is part of a series of management changes being initiated by the pizza chain. David Mounts, its current chief financial officer, is to become executive vice president of distribution and procurement. He succeeds Mike Soignet, who is retiring from the group next month after 26 years with the company. The company said there was no timetable to find a permanent successor to Mounts, who is to be replaced in the interim by Bill Kapp, currently vice president of finance and administration for distribution and supply chain. David Brandon, chief executive, said that the changes were not initiated to curb his authority and that he was negotiating with the company’s board to renew and extend his contract.
