Chipotle Mexican Grill, the US-based burrito concept, has opened its sixth site in the UK in London’s Wimbledon.
The company, which is carrying out a measured growth strategy in the UK, has opened on the former 40 the Hill restaurant site in the borough.
It is thought that a handful of further sites are being explored in the capital for the group’s pipeline over the coming 12 months.
The group, which is led by Jacob Sumner in the UK, also operates sites in the capital in St Martin’s Lane, Charing Cross Road, Wardour Street, Baker Street and Upper Street in Islington.
