Trust Inns has reported its financial statements for the 52 weeks to 2 April 2023, with turnover of £38.3m and profit after tax of £6.6m.

In comparison, turnover for the Lancashire-based pub operator was £33.8m and profit after tax was £3.7m the prior year.

In September 2021, the company entered into a £30m revolving credit facility with Barclays that expires in 2026.

Established in 1995, Trust Inns’ estate currently comprises more than 340 pubs across the UK from Northern Scotland to the South coast of England, with concentrations in and around Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Preston, Blackburn, Liverpool, Nottingham, and London.

It reported a return to profit in August 2022 after incurring a loss of £8.5m due to Covid restrictions the year before.
