South American-inspired restaurant business Tupi has been liquidated, MCA understands.

The concept was led by former Wells Group head chef Gleydson De Paula.

Tupi has two sites, in 2 Castle Square, Peckham, and 206 Rye Lane, Peckham, which are both understood to be open at the time writing.

The all-day concept was described as bringing together “Europe and South America with a menu that’s healthy and indulgent”.

Kieran Bourne of Cromwell & Co Insolvency Practitioners was appointed liquidator on 22 October.
