Rola Wala, the Indian wrap concept backed by team behind Barworks, has entered into administration, MCA understands.

Andy John and Neil Bennett of Leonard Curtis have been appointed administrators.

The fusion concept currently has two sites, a flagship in Spitalfields and a unit at Trinity Kitchen in Leeds.

A site at Selfridges in Birmingham closed earlier this year, while another at Oxford Westgate closed last year.

Rola Wala was led by Mark Wright and Mark Christophers, a co-founder of West Cornwall Pasty Company, and made its name as a street food trader with Kerb and Street Feast.

In 2017 the business secured investment from the founders of Camden Town Brewery and Barworks group, Marc Francis-Baum, Andreas Akerlund and Patric Franzen.
