Pernod Ricard, the French drinks company, has completed the sale of its New Zealand wine brand Lindauer. The drinks company has received approval for the deal from the New Zealand Overseas Investment Office, having revealed its intention to sell Lindauer in October. It will also see the disposal of several other wine brands including Gisborne and Hawke’s Bay, together with their related inventories and assets. The buyers are a consortium made up of Lion Nathan New Zealand, part of Lion Nathan National Foods, and winemaker Indevin.
