David Page’s secondary investment vehicle Putney Beach has been wound up, MCA understands.

The private investment fund, which was launched in 2016 by the chairman of Franco Manca-owner Fulham Shore, has been placed into voluntary liquidation with RSM.

Aimed at supporting fledgling concepts, Putney Beach raised £2m towards the launch now closed restaurant concept Fixed, which featured a fixed-price menu of steak, chicken, crab and burgers.

Fixed Restaurants Limited has also been placed into liquidation, with both sites closed some two years ago.

The fund, which was also backed by Fulham Shore directors Nabil Mankarious, Nick Donaldson and Nick Wong, was positioned to focus on the “perceived riskier end” of the investment spectrum compared to Fulham Shore.

Page is also involved in artisan pizza concept Made of Dough and MeatLiquor.
