Only three leisure sector stocks (Fuller’s, Dominos and Richoux) underperformed the market this week as the M&C20 built on last week’s gains to rise another 2% to 1,161, leaving the FTSE All Share trailing in its wake (down 0.3% to 1,028).

Enterprise Inns (up 8.8%), Wetherspoons (up 5.1%), The Restaurant Group (TRG) (up 4.4%), Mitchells & Butlers (M&B) (up 3.5%) and new boys Eclectic (up 3.1%), were the standout performers.

Fuller’s was the biggest loser this week down 4.2%, followed by Richoux down 1.8%.

There was no change in the order regarding value of market capitalisation, with the top six remaining Greene King, M&B, TRG, JDW, Marston’s and Domino’s.
