Draft House, the London-based craft beer concept founded by Charlie McVeigh, has reported a 17% rise in like-for-like sales in May and said it hoped to have new site news shortly.

The five-strong group, which is backed by Luke Johnson, said that for the first seven months of its financial year it had now broken double-digit LFL at +10.07%.

Earlier this year, McVeigh said that the group had two new sites in the pipeline for the next six months. It is thought to be looking to add five sites in total over the next year.

He said the group had two models in which to explore further growth with, a smaller wet-led format such as at its Charlotte Street site and its larger, more food-led units like at Seething Lane.
