Jascots Wine Merchants’ managing director and sales director have acquired a controlling stake in the company from founder Jack Scott.
Scott will retain a share in the company and will act as a non-executive director but the bulk of the company is now owned equally by sales and marketing director Miles MacInnes and managing director John Charnock.
They will both hold the title ‘managing partner’, with Charnock managing finances and MacInnes the marketing and product.
Fellow directors Dipak Thapa (Finance), Dean Hammond (Operations) and Ben Scott (Key Accounts and Events) partners in the business.
MacInnes said: “The plan is to keep going in the direction we have set over the last four years, focusing on delivering amazing wines to the restaurants, hotels and caterers of London and the UK with the best customer service in the industry. We have enjoyed our most successful year yet in 15-16 and we predict 15% growth in 16-17.”
