Former Nomura whizzkid Guy Hands is named the 16th richest man in the City of London with a fortune of £175m.
He made his name buying pubs and cinema chains and helped make a £3bn profit for Nomura before branching out on his own.
He is now buying German motorway service stations and has invested £100m in a chain of luxury hotels.
Run by his wife Julia, these have been rebranded Hand Picked Hotels.
