The Comptoir Group traded in line with management expectations in 2023, and is looking to the year ahead “with confidence” as it continues to expand its brands.

The operator of Lebanese, Middle Eastern and North African inspired restaurants expects to report a revenue performance of approximately £31.5m (2022: £31.0m) in the 52 weeks to 31 December 2023, subject to audit.

In addition, it reports net cash at 31 December 2023 of £5.4m (H2 2022: £5.7m.)

Last year the group opened a new Comptoir Libanais restaurant in Ealing which is performing ahead of expectations.

It also closed a location in Leeds Trinity Centre during the period.

Comptoir has identified further sites for development, ending the year with 21 managed restaurants and six franchise restaurants.

The flagship brand of the group, Comptoir Libanais, is a collection of 22 restaurants located across London, nationwide and international travel hubs, including cities such as Manchester, Bath, Birmingham, Oxford and Dubai.

This year, the group is opening a new restaurant at the Southbank Centre, located opposite the entrance of the Royal Festival Hall, neighbouring Las Iguanas, Côte Brasserie and Honest Burgers restaurants.

The Lebanese and Middle Eastern restaurant concept is expected to open around Easter 2024.
