Boparan Restaurant Holdings has confirmed the acquisition of 33 Ed’s Easy Diner sites, which have been added to the Giraffe business it acquired earlier this year.
The deal comprises brand, the head office team and the 33 restaurants.
Tom Crowley, managing director of Giraffe, said: “Ed’s Easy Diner has been an integral part of the UK casual dining scene for the past four decades and we are very excited about the business joining the group and the opportunities ahead.”
No update was given on the future of the 26 Ed’s sites not involved in the deal.
Boparan also owns and operates Harry Ramsdens, FishWorks and The Cinnamon Collection.
