Leon managing director, Ashley Davis, Pret UK & Ireland managing director Clare Clough, and Fireaway Pizza CEO and founder Mario Aleppo will join the line-up at MCA’s Food to Go conference next month.

Taking place at the The Ham Yard Hotel, London, on March 5, the conference will offer insight into the vision and strategy of some of the most dynamic Food to Go operators in the sector, from emerging talents to household names.

In a presentation exploring how Leon is maintaining magic and momentum in a digital world, Ashley Davis will explore how an omnichannel approach can support and drive brand awareness and profitability for restaurants.

Later, Pret a Manger’s Clare Clough will shine a spotlight on the approach the business is taking in its franchise model, including how it ensures partners embody Pret’s values, and the opportunities for current and prospective franchisees

Fast-tracking growth through the franchising is also the topic of the day for Fireaway’s Mario Aleppo, who has grown the build-your-own pizza concept to 160 UK stores since 2016, with eye-catching designs and innovative menus.

The programme also includes insight from Taco Bell UK & Europe general manager, Ian Cranna, who will discuss almost doubling in size over the last two-and-half years and entering new markets on the continent.

Further highlights are set to include a delivery and tech panel featuring Wingstop UK, Attensi and Marugame Udon, and a session from Krispy Kreme UK MD Jamie Dunning, who will share how the business has maintained its cool among young people, and new channel growth opportunities such as partnerships with McDonald’s.

The day will also feature sessions with operators such as West Morland Family, Knoops, BP, Welcome Break, TRG Concessions, Ole & Steen, Joe & The Juice and Chopstix.
