Broadcaster, writer, economist and former politician Ed Balls is to host MCA’s Retailers’ Retailer Awards 2023.
Balls served as Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families from 2007 to 2010 and as Shadow Chancellor from 2011 to 2015.
More recently he been a regular presenter on ITV’s breakfast show Good Morning Britain programme and currently appears on Channel 4’s The Andrew Neil Show.
He also put in some memorable performances on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing in 2016.
Taking place on 14 March at The Roundhouse in Camden, the Retailers’ Retailer Awards is the highlight in the calendar for the UK’s eating and drinking out market, with the best of the best celebrated on the night.
Guests are treated to a drinks reception, before a sit down three course dinner and awards ceremony, and the chance to continue the celebratrations late into the night.
