Pizza Hut is trialing alcohol delivery at 10 sites across the UK – including Sheffield, Oldham and a number of sites across London.

Licensing solicitors Woods Whur worked with Pizza Hut to choose the ten locations. At three of the sites, including East Finchley and Golders Green, the application was taken to a hearing where conditions were added.

Partner Paddy Whur told M&C Report: “They wanted to make sure the people delivering were over a certain age and in one case they have to wear CCTV cameras when delivering. What they were mainly concerned about was that all the training was in place to make sure this was responsible and that no one under-age.”

He said the company would review the performance of the ten sites before deciding whether to roll it out further.
