Just Eat Takeaway.com has signed as an official partner to the UEFA Champions League.

The deal also includes the men’s and women’s competition, as well as partnerships with other UEFA football competitions, including the UEFA Europa League, EURO and youth and futsal competitions.

The long-term partnership follows the company’s current UEFA EURO 2020 partnership, and brings Just Eat Takeaway.com’s support to 12 UEFA competitions and events in total.

Guy-Laurent Epstein, UEFA marketing director said: “With their digital expertise, Just Eat Takeaway.com will be providing fans with an easy and seamless way to order food, as they simultaneously watch some of European football’s biggest stars compete in some of the world’s most important club and national team competitions.”

Jitse Groen, CEO and founder of Just Eat Takeaway.com said: “Our strategy is to pair our premium household brands with the most premium sport events on the planet. It is especially important for us to sponsor both the women’s and the men’s tournaments. Our brand is for everybody, and sports should be too. We share these goals with UEFA.”

Just Eat Takeaway.com said it was “unique opportunity to engage with football fans” during their favourite competitions.

The partnership will provide Just Eat Takeaway.com with exposure across in-game perimeter LED boards, media interview backdrops and broadcast sponsorship.
