Wrapid, the healthy fast-food operation owned by Stephen Minall and Bhasker Dhir, is to make its debut in Spain and Portugal next year, after signing a master franchise with the Iberian Group to launch in Lisbon and Madrid, M&C Report has learnt.

The group, which was launched with the aim of creating a unique brand based around wraps using bread from all over the world, currently operates an international site in Dubai and around 25 sites in the UK.

The company’s range of products will also be going on flight with Thomson Air /TUI this November, after they were successfully launched into Ocado in July.

At the end of last year, the group launched counters in two Holland & Barrett (H&B) sites in London, it had since extended its vegetarian range into 80 H&B locations.

It recently opened its fifth concession at University of Sheffield and also has concessions at Winchester and Cransfield University, and University of East Anglia with Norse Group.

The group also has a product range in over 200 Nisa-Today retail stores.
