Wrap it Up!, the gourmet wrap concept led by Tayub Mushtaq, is set to open its second regional site in Manchester, after securing a unit at One Piccadilly Gardens.
The 13-strong group, which opened in the city’s Deansgate area last year, has agreed a 10-year lease on an 875sq ft ground-floor unit at the property that also houses Byron, ASK and Pret a Manger.
Legal & General Property (LGP), represented by agent Savills, has let the unit at a rent of £26,500 per annum.
LGP senior fund manager Mark Russell said: “We are extremely pleased Wrap It Up! has chosen One Piccadilly Gardens for its second site in Manchester, further enhancing the variety of food choices on offer at the scheme and supporting our wider improvement plans. The location benefits from a high footfall of office workers, commuters and shoppers, making it ideal for this type of healthy fast food offer.”
Last year, Wrap it Up! completed a crowdfunding campaign, raising double its target amount as its looks to eventually become a 100-strong national chain.
It recently opened a site in Aldermanbury in the City.
