Wok&Go, the Chester-based Asian Fusion restaurant chain, has a further nine sites lined up as it looks to double its UK estate this year.

The Des Pheby-led concept, which made its London debut in Finchley earlier this year, will open in Chatham next month; Canterbury, Southampton, Southend and Manchester in August; whilst a further opening Manchester and in Liverpool’s Central Station are also lined up for this summer.

Further units in Ellesmere Port and Wolverhampton have been lined up for later in the year, whilst talks on openings in Scotland and Ireland are ongoing.

Earlier this year the company, which was founded in 2008 by Pheby, announced it would double the number of existing UK stores (currently 21) this year and it would expand its international footprint with a further opening in Dubai.

Pheby said: “We started out in the North and gradually working our way down South. We have further London sites in the pipeline for this year, as well as multiple openings in Kent and Essex”.

“We are confident about our versatile model which has allowed us to operate in busy urban contexts, shopping malls and retail parks across the UK.”
