Wasabi, the London-based sushi and bento chain led by Dong Hyun Kim, remains on track to operate 40 sites by the end of this year, after securing a further site in London’s Soho.
The 37-strong group, which will soon open at Lakeside, is believed to have taken the unit at 37 Old Compton Street for an opening before the end of the year.
It recently opened in Tottenham Court Road.
The chain, which was founded in 2003, will open its second site in New York at 7 Westfield World Trade Center next March.
