VyTA, the premium Italian coffee, bakery & fine food bar concept, is set to make its UK debut later this year in London’s Covent Garden.
The business, which is owned by the Rome-based Retail Group SRL, will join the Miami-based concept Buns & Buns, in opening in The Market.
The group, which is similar in design to Princi, currently operates sites in Turin, Rome, Milan and Naples.
Both Buns & Buns and VyTA will be joined in Covent Garden by RedFarm, the New York-based, high-end Chinese-American dim sum concept, which is set to open on the Belushi’s site on 9 Russell Street.
As previously revealed by MCA, Buns & Buns, the Miami-based restaurant concept, is set to replace Jamie Oliver’s remaining Union Jacks pizza restaurant in London’s Covent Garden Piazza.
Launched in south Miami in 2014 by Alex Zibi, Buns & Buns describes itself as a hybrid between counter service and fine dining dubbed “gastro-fast”.
MCA believes the concept is being brought to the UK and the Piazza site in conjunction with Samba Brands, owners of the Sushisamba and Duck & Waffle brands, which is set to open a new restaurant in the adjacent former Opera Terrace unit later this year.
