Vagabond is assessing its future funding options to aid further expansion, after becoming one of the first operators to sign up open at the new Battersea Power Station development, M&C understands.
Founder Stephen Finch told M&C debating between traditional bank debt and crowd-funding in regards to furture funding and that the company was in a good position to raise a significant amount of debt.
The new Battersea unit will face the power station, but Finch is hoping to add up to three more sites before its launch.
Fuinch said the majority of new openings would be in London, although he is currently considering a “non-London for a truly amazing site”.
The company raised £400k from the Enterprise Investment Scheme to fund its most recent opening in in Old Spitalfields Market.
The group, which is also part retailer and wholesaler, launched its first site in Fulham in September 2010 and opened a further unit in Charlotte Street in December 2013.
